With solely six years left till the mysterious crystalline structure Tiberium renders the planet entirely unlivable , the 2 opposing factions -- international Defense Initiative (GDI) and therefore the Brotherhood of Nod -- inevitably notice themselves in desperation for an equivalent cause: to prevent Tiberium from ending humankind.
